STRIDE Academy Volunteer Mission Statement:
STRIDE Academy volunteers recognize the positive impact of sharing time and talent with students and staff. Volunteering contributes to the success of children as it displays our perspective of the great importance of education and character development. We understand our service to STRIDE is a gift, and realize that in giving, we receive the gratification of knowing we make a difference.
Volunteer Information
STRIDE Academy has a firm belief that parent involvement equates with student success and achievement in the classroom. All parents will be required to participate in a covenant meeting at which time they will be asked to commit to 30 hours of volunteer time in a variety activities related to the overall function of STRIDE Academy.
Some of the activities may include actual classroom supervision, office support, and fund raising. We also encourage and invite STRIDE's parents to submit ideas for classroom activities that can be offered during three week intersessions.
Parent involvement and support is critical to the overall success of STRIDE Academy.
