Our Classroom

STRIDE Academy focuses on creating a learning environment that gives every member of our diverse student body the tools to succeed. That starts with small class sizes of no more than 20 students so our teachers can give students the personalized attention they deserve. To ensure we teach to each child's learning level, STRIDE Academcy completes a personalized assessment of all students when they arrive and throughout the year. 

Armed with information on each student's proficiency in core academic areas, our highly-trained teachers create individual learning plans for each student and place them at their learning level. This cultivates a rich learning environment for students. They don't get bored or frustrated because they are being taught at their ability level and learning at their pace.

	Individualized Learning STRIDE regularly assesses all students and teaches them based on their abilities, not their age. The result: Our students advance an average of 1.3 years annually, exceeding the national average of less than 1.

Special Education

It's the mission of STRIDE Academy to provide educational experiences that meet the needs of ALL students. As a public school, STRIDE Academy provides services for students with disabilities. We have a program to identify students needing special education services.
